Vienna Conference - Competence in Esthetics 2017

Firs Dental committed to continual learning

Last week both Raj Ghadiali and Raj Gupta attended the 9th 'Competence in Esthetics Symposium' in Vienna – organised by Ivoclar Vivadent.

Ivoclar Vivadent is working with Firs Premier to provide PrograMill One, the smallest smart 5-axis milling machine worldwide. Along with the associated scanner, this precision technology eliminates the need for traditional methods of creating dental moulds for crowns, braces and other dental restorations. This will allow Firs Premier to be the first in the Leicestershire area to be able to offer same day crowns, inlays and in-house milling, using this particular machine.

From 10 to 11 November 2017, carefully handpicked experts shared their approaches, recent experiences and the latest news about products for the dental practice and dental laboratory with them. The theme of the Symposium was “Digital Smile Design, CAD/CAM-Dentistry & Implant Solutions". The benefits were clear: they obtained first-hand information and insight into successful treatment procedures that can be integrated smoothly into any dental practice and dental laboratory routine. Additional workshops and live demonstrations about Ivoclar Vivadent products rounded off the program. They both enjoyed valuable time receiving practical hints and tips from distinguished speakers. By immersing themselves in the unique atmosphere of the Symposium and by attending lectures over 2 days they benefitted from the extensive experience of renowned experts. An excellent and thought-provoking conference with forward-thinking experts in digital dentistry
